I have recently been put back on the research trail of Captain Rowley P. Taylor, a First New York Dragoons member and an individual referenced in one of Levi D. Green’s letters home. I lost track of Captain Taylor in 2016 when I found a short page on him posted on Facebook. However, the Village of Attica, New York, uploaded meeting minutes referencing the Good Captain, and now I am back on the trail looking for new insights.
