I had the pleasure of meeting Christopher Morton, the Assistant Curator at the New York State Military Museum, located at 61 Lake Avenue, Saratoga Springs, New York 12866. Chris was incredibly gracious in allowing me to view the Standard for the First New York Dragoons. His extensive knowledge of this historical artifact greatly enriched the research on this website.
